Bible Study Series: Our Lady in the Bible

On Tuesdays after the 5:30pm SM Mass, Fr. Irek will lead
a new bible study series: Our Lady in the Bible. The
workbook for this series will be $10.00 and can be paid
at the first session.

Men’s Bible Breakfast Fellowship

Men of the parish are invited to join in a Bible Breakfast held every Wednesday morning from 6:15 to 7:30 in St. Mary’s basement. The scripture discussion is based on the upcoming Sunday’s Gospel using a commentary provided by Bishop Daniel Mueggenborg, Bishop of Reno. Breakfast is provided by the participants on a rotating schedule throughout the year. No previous experience in scripture or cooking is necessary. Ministry of Eucharist to the Homebound

Any member of the parish can request to receive Holy Communion in his/her home when confined due to health or other reasons. Please contact Dory Marken at 970-390-6847 or dory.marken@eku.edu to request a visit.

Rosary at St Mary’s

Please join us for in an evening of prayer and reflection by praying the holy rosary at St. Mary’s on Wednesdays at 5:30pm. Please contact Ricky Luevanos if you would like to lead a rosary on another day/time/location. 970-401-5104

SIMPLE SUPPER/COMMUNITY DINNER
WE NEED MORE VOLUNTEERS

As you may know, a Take Out Meal is offered at the Methodist Church every Monday and St. Mary’s Volunteers cook and serve the meal the second Monday of each Month. It is for the Community and those in need. Emily Trujillo sends out an email with a menu that the volunteers have prepared each month. The menu is usually a main dish, two sides and a dessert. The volunteers sign up for one item they will bring. About seven people sign up to serve the dinner. Those people making food bring it to the Methodist Church at 4:00 p.m. Volunteers don’t have to do it every month, just when it is convenient. If you would like to sign up, please email Emily Trujillo at grandmahopper1@gmail.com and she will add you to the Simple Supper email list.

If you can’t get your food to the Methodist Church by 4:00 but would still like to volunteer, you could drop it off the day before or that morning. In Gypsum, email Emily Trujillo at the above address to make arrangements. In Eagle, email Cathie Jarnot at bobcathiej@gmail.com. Please think about volunteering for this rewarding program.
